הרפידות האחוריות הן של חברת TRW שהקליפרים שלי (מלאון קופרה) הם של אותו יצרן (הקליפרים הקדמיים של הקופרה הן של ATE) מסוג DTEC. כאמור בעלי תרכובת אחרת שבולמת טוב יותר ומשאירה הרבה פחות Brake Dust על החישוקים וכנראה שגם מחזיקה מעמד טוב יותר מהרפידות הרגילות.

בנוסף ד׳ המליץ לי גם על הוספת תוסף שמן מסוג Cera Tec - Liqui Moly שלטענתו של ד׳ שאני כאמור מאוד סומך עליו ומסקירות שערכתי מפחית את החיכוך במנוע, מגן על המכלולים שלו, מוריד במקצת את הטמפרטורה ומאפשר למנוע לעבוד ״חלק״ יותר ושקט יותר. אני בד״כ לא מאמין להצהרות הללו אך מכיוון שד׳ ממש מבין בתחום ומכיוון שהמליץ והמחיר ממש לא גבוה אז החלטתי להקשיב לו ולהוסיף את התוסף. אנסה לדווח בהמשך על תחושותיי לאחר הטיפול הזה.
