אמנם לא רכב VAG אבל זהו בהחלט עוד פרוייקט מעניין מבית E&A AUTOSPORT שבהחלט שווה התייחסות (והמון קנאה בבעל הרכב....) רכב הפרוייקט הפעם הינו במוו M1 מנוע 3000 ,340 כ"ס , הנעה אחורית -גיר ידני.
מנהיגת מבחן ראשונית על הרכב גם כסטנדרט ,אני חייב לציין שמדובר ברכב כיפי לנהיגה ,עמוס במומנט ,הגה מדוייק וזנב שובב . אבל אם אפשר יותר מזה-למה לא....? אחרי שיחה עמוקה ויסודית עם בעל הרכב והבנת כוונותיו ,הוחלט לקחת את הרכב "קצת קדימה" כאשר היעד הוא לעבור את רף 500 כ"ס מבלי לשנות את מכלולי המנוע המקורי. בכדי לעשות זאת ערכנו בדיקה יסודית ורשימת קניות מדוייקת הכוללת : הח" צנרת הירידה מהטורבו (down pipe) החלפת מצנן הביניים המקורי (intercooler ) לאחד גדול יותר מתוצרת FORGE-MOTORSPORT הח" מגדשי הטורבו (יש שניים ) למשופרים מתוצרת LUBA-MOTORSPORT ולקינוח קיט יניקת אוויר. את ההספק החדש והמשופר ,תנהל תוכנת ניהול המנוע של GIAC כמובן .

בכדי להעביר את ההספק העצום הזה לגלגלים ,הוחלף המצמד המקורי באחר משופר מתוצרת SPEC תוך שימת דגש על דוושה רכה ואיכות ללא פשרות .
לעבודה :
בחינה קצרה של דרכי הגישה למגדשי הטורבו הביאה אותנו להחלטה להוריד את המנוע והגיר כיחידה אחת ולהחליף את מגדשי הטורבו ואת המצמד ,על שולחן העבודה וכך אכן עשינו:
בשעת בוקר מוקדמת ,הופרדו אחר כבוד המנוע מהגיר ולאחר שעה קלה כבר הותקן המצמד החדש במקומו. השלב השני ,החל בפירוק שני מגדשי הטורבו הישנים ממקומם והחלפתם במשופרים. עובדת היות המנוע על שולחן העבודה ,הקלה משמעותית את הביצוע ואיפשרה גישה מצוינת לכל הברגים המחזקים את המגדשים החדשים למקומם.
הפסקה קצרה לארוחת הצהריים ותהליך החזרת המנוע למקומו כמעט מתחיל ,אך לא לפני שאנו עוברים שוב ידנית על כל ברגי הטורבו והגיר ומוודאים שהם מהודקים כהלכה. לשמחתי הרבה ,תהליך החזרת המנוע למקומו עובר חלק כאשר בשעה 16-30 לערך,הרעידה שאגת המנוע את תקרת המוסך... סיבוב קצר ברכב לוודא שהכל תקין ,המאווררים עובדים והרכב לא מתחמם . לאחר חצי שעת עבודת המנוע ,הרמנו שוב את הרכב ,בכדי לוודא שכלום לא דולף,נוזל,או משוחרר . הרכב מוכן ויוצא לנסיעה בת 700 ק"מ ,במהלכה תעשה הרצה לקלאץ. עדכון נוסף ואחרון -בקרוב.
