דיברתי היום עם המוסך לקבוע תור להחלפת המאכטרוניקס במסגרת קמפיין השירות, ונאמר לי שהגיעו לפני חודשיים סט מצמדים חדש שמיועד לארצות עם אקלים חם. מישהו שמע על כך?
ברכב שלי כבר הוחלף לפני חצי שנה מצמדים למה שחשבתי שהוא הדגם החדש, עכשיו אמרו לי שיש דגם יותר חדש.
למיטב ידיעתי, הקלאצ'ים האלו הגיעו באופן אוטומטי מהמפעל לכל הרכבים שיובאו לישראל ע"י צ'מפיון החל מתחילת/אמצע 2011. והחל מאותה תקופה לערך, רכבים קיימים שסבלו מתקלות בגיר אשר אובחנו כהחלקה של קלאצ'ים, קיבלו החלפה במסגרת אחריות מיוחדת על הגיר (כאשר ישנם מקרים בהם בעל הרכב נדרש להשתתף בעלות מסויימת בגין ההחלפה).
ככה שאם החליפו לך לפני חצי שנה, אמורה להיות לך הגרסא האחרונה.
אני הבנתי שהיו כמה בעיות המרכזית בינהם הייתה בחומר מסוים שהיה בגיר, הבעיה הייתה לא בגלל חום אלא בגלל לחות גבוהה, אני לא בטוח בזה אבל זה מה שחקרתי בחו"ל עם אנגלית קשה.
הבעיה לא אמורה להיות תקפה החל משנתון 2011 (אמצע), אך מנסיון של שבוע וחצי בתיבה ונסיעה על רכבים נוספים עם DSG7, עדיין יש חבלי ילדות עם הגיר הזה, בייחוד ברמת התוכנה שלפעמים היא מזייפת, אבל ברוב המקרים עושים עבודה טובה.
אחד הדברים המגניבים ששמעתי מחבר שמתעסק עם תכונות מחשב וניהול מנוע וגיר, שעוד כמה שנים המחשב יחובר למערכת GPS ויתפקד בהתאם, לתנאי הכביש הדבר יאפשר חיבור קבוע לרשת האינטרנט להורדת "עדכונים", וקביעת מצבים ע"י הנהג, הדבר יאפשר גיר קשוח יותר, לדעת בדיוק איפה יש עלייה/ירידה, כביש אפר, כביש משובש, וכמובן גם המתלים ואופציות נוספות, זה יכול להיות דבר פשוט גאוני
